About this project:
Two existing playgrounds for infants and toddlers and one playground for PreK students were transformed into outdoor classrooms for Tulsa Educare’s first early childhood learning center. Individual learning areas were developed around climbing structures that were to remain on the site.
Painted wooden decks were built to be used for napping areas and stage settings. A wooden boardwalk stretches across a grassy open area and musical instruments by Freenotes Harmony Park are planted in the ground.
Also included are a new bike path, a giant concrete and stone turtle patio, custom wooden hiding spaces and entries and kid-friendly plantings throughout.
