Design Inspiration: Bringing A Tribal Creation Story To Life Through An Outdoor Classroom

Two new outdoor classrooms for the Otoe-Missouria tribe of Oklahoma tell the creation story of today’s seven surviving clans. The staff at the daycare center provided inspiration images and correct native spellings for each animal and asked us to incorporate those throughout the outdoor learning environment. Honored and up for the challenge, Good Fieldwork created seven unique areas defined by each animal.
